1. Video Specifications:

 1.1 Resolution:

• UHD (Ultra High Definition): 3840 x 2160 pixels

• HD (High Definition): 1920 x 1080 pixels

 1.2 Interlaced Footage:

• Interlaced Footage is NOT Accepted.** Please ensure all submitted footage is progressive.

​

 1.3 Frame Rate:

• Submit videos in their native frame rates. Common frame rates include: 24fps, 25fps, 30fps, 50fps, and 60fps.

2. Codec & Bitrate Specifications:

​

 2.1 Codec:

• Accepted Codec: H.264, Apple ProRes HQ

• Not Accepted: H.265 or any variant

​

 2.2 Bitrate:

• Videos should be submitted with the same bitrate as they were acquired in-camera. This ensures the highest possible quality is retained.

 

 

3. Audio Specifications:

 3.1 Audio Codec:

• Accepted Codecs:

• AAC (Minimum Bitrate: 192 kbps)

• Uncompressed audio for Apple ProRes.

​

 3.2 Channels:

• Stereo. If the original footage has surround sound or other multi-channel formats, please downmix to stereo.

​

3.3 Audio Levels:

• Loudness normalization to international standards like EBU R128 or ATSC A/85, usually targeting -23 LUFS ±1 LU.

4. File Containers:

• Accepted containers include `.mp4`, `.mov`.

​

5. Additional Guidelines:

• Ensure there are no watermarks or embedded logos in the footage.

• Videos should be free from noticeable compression artifacts.

• Ensure color grading, if applied, is consistent throughout the video.

• Avoid submitting footage with visible sensor noise, especially in low-light conditions.
